What is RTS Planet?

RTS Planeta is a multimedia internet service that allows you to watch TV and radio programs of the Media Public Service of Radio-Television of Serbia, Catch Up service of 72 hours (delayed viewing of program content), Video on demand and Audio on demand (TV monitoring and radio shows within the Videoteka and Slušaonica), as well as individual stories within the whole Moj grad from the correspondent network of RTS. Also, on the multimedia platform RTS Planet, PGP RTS music releases are also available. For the monitoring of the RTS Planet service, the user must download the RTS Planet application, ensure Internet access and the correct operation of the receiving device.

Can all the contents that are broadcast on the programs of Radio-Television of Serbia be viewed on the RTS Planet website?

RTS Planeta enables viewing of all content of linear television and radio programs: RTS1, RTS2, RTS3, RTS World, RTS Science, RTS Drama, RTS Music, RTS Kolo, RTS Life, RTS Trezor, RTS Poletarac, RTS Klasika, Radio Beograd 1, Radio Beograd 2, Radio Beograd 3, Belgrade 202, RTS Pletenica, RTS Rokenroler, RTS Džuboks, RTS Vrteška and RTS Džezer. You can watch non-linear content, or media service for listening and watching a radio and television program on demand. Additionally, it is possible to view all content within 72 hours, via a program guide (selecting days, content and clicking on the play icon). Restrictions on the availability of the program are defined by the license rights, so that the so-called " Licensed programs can only be monitored on territories for which license rights exist.

 

Who is entitled to free access to the content?

The Basic package is free and intended for users of RTS Planeta in the Republic of Serbia. The package provides access to all RTS television programs: RTS 1, RTS 2, RTS 3, RTS Nauka, RTS Svet, RTS Drama, RTS Život, RTS Muzika, RTS Kolo, RTS Poletarac, RTS Trezor and all radio programs of RTS: RB1, RB2, RB3, RB 202, RTS Vrteška, RTS Rokenroler, RTS Pletenica, RTS Džuboks, RTS Džezer, as well as contents in Video Store (Videoteka), RTS Sound (RTS Zvuk), Cinema (Bioskop), categories My City (Moj grad) and My School (Moja škola) and phonograms produced by RTS Record Label (PGP RTS). All users who access from abroad are available free of charge the TV channel RTS World (RTS Svet), the programs of Radio Belgrade, as well as the contents within the categories Video Store (Videoteka), RTS Sound (RTS Zvuk), My City (Moj grad), My School (Moja škola) and phonograms produced by RTS Record Label (PGP RTS).


How much I spend in MB in about one hour of watching TV programs?

The amount of data transfer that you can spend per hour of watching TV programs depends on the data rate (the quality of the playback itself). For example, if you watch some video in the worst-case (360p), then the one-hour video watch consumption is about 300 MB. In the highest quality version (HD resolution), the value of the Internet transmission used can be more than 6.5 GB.

Which devices can be followed by RTS Planet?

RTS Planeta uses the most advanced HTML5 software language that can be used on the following platforms (devices):
• Personal computers (Windows 10 and later, Mac OS 11 with the recommendation to use an updated Google Chrome web browser)
• Smartphones and tablets (iOS 12 and later, Android 8 and later)

Should a specific application be installed on this computer to use this service?

It is not necessary. You are already on that web site. You can register for access to the content

What Internet connection do I have to keep track of content?

RTS Planeta is using an advanced adaptive bitrate coding system (adaptive transfer speed) so it adjusts to the current bandwidth of your streaming. In case you have a slower Internet connection, the system will automatically adjust the playback quality so you can inspect the content.

How to register?

It is registered by selecting the "Register" option. For successful registration, you need to accept the Terms of Use, enter your password and e-mail address correctly. After that, you will receive a verification email on your email address that you must confirm. This will activate your user account.

Is it possible to simultaneously monitor content on all registered devices?


Simultaneous playback is possible on all registered devices, in accordance with the maximum number of registered devices.

I've reached the maximum number of devices I can install the app. How can I check out a device so I can use the new one?

You can download registered devices via the web, within your user profile (top, right corner). This option is only available through the internet browser (the application has no option), and you can log off one device once a month.

I can not watch the live program, I only get a "black screen". What is the problem?

It's probably about incompatibility with your operating system or Internet browser. Namely, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are no longer supported due to outdated technology. If you have a newer operating system (Windows 10 or later), Google Chrome is recommended as a web browser. Other search engines such as Firefox, Edge, or Safari can be used, however, they need to be updated to the latest versions and install the necessary add-ons (such as Microsoft Silverlight).

How to change the password?

You can set your new password as follows: Sign in to the service via the web (the application does not have this option), within its user data, under the 'Edit data' option.
